WHO WE ARE

Concrete finishers set concrete forms and pour concrete. After it’s poured, they spread, smooth, and finish concrete. They may also work to repair and preserve existing concrete structures.

 

WHAT WE DO

  • Set concrete forms

  • Spread out & smooth freshly poured concrete walls, floors or sidewalks

  • Place fixtures such as steel plates, anchor bolts, & door sills into freshly poured concrete

  • Safely operate a power vibrator to make sure concrete is compacted

  • Repair & preserve concrete structures​

  • Residential, commercial, industrial sites

  • Outdoors or indoors

  • Work mostly at ground level

  • Requires bending, kneeling, lifting

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Weather can impact construction timelines.

  • Work less in winter, more in summer

  • Overtime is common. Work can be fast-paced, and a project finishing concrete cannot just be stopped and picked up the next day - it's done with it's done!
